Northeast Ceramic Supply and Monroe ClayWorks is in transition because of Dennis’s death and the near future sale to Patrick and Marica Durkin. 

We’d like to know any ideas or suggestions that you would like to see at Northeast Ceramic Supply and Monroe ClayWorks.

July Wood Firing: July 26, 27 & 28th 

Our July Bruno firing will be on July 26, 27 & 28th.

Wadding and loading will be on Wednesday, July 25 at 10:00 a.m.

Please let me know if you are able to help wad and load and also if you’ll be available to take a 6 hour stoking shift.  Below are the stoking shifts.  Please email or call me to reserve your shift.

Firing Begins at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 26.  I’ll take the first stoking shift.

Thursday, July 26,  7 p.m. until 1 a.m.

Friday, July 27         1 a.m. until 7 a.m.

                                 7 a.m. until 1 p.m.

                                 1 p.m. until 7 p.m.

                                  7 p.m. until 1 a.m.

Saturday, July 28       1 a.m. until 7 a.m.

                                   7 a.m. until 1 p.m.

                                   1 p.m. until Close

Have a wonderful Fourth of July, stay cool.  Northeast Ceramic Supply and Monroe ClayWorks will be closed for vacation 1 July – 9 July.  You can still send me emails and call me but the store and studio will be closed.

Patrick told me he is disappointed that he will not be able to be at our July firing because he’ll be with his family in Hungary.

Glazing for Bruno:  If you are going to use NEC/MCWs studio cone 10 glazes all work must be glazed by Saturday, July 21st.

All work must be at NEC/MCW by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24th to get in this firing.  We’re excited to have another lovely wood fire.  If can’t take a 6 hour stoking shift please come by and visit while we’re firing.  Barbara
